    To a temperature scale used in science in which 0 Kelvin (absolute zero) is equivalent to 273.16 Celsius. The SI unit of temperature, formally defined as the fraction 1/273.16 of the temperature of the triple point (solid-liquid-vapor equilibrium) of water. A temperature in kelvins is equal to a Celsius temperature plus 273.15°C.

    Smelling strongly like an animal, as, e.g., urine in certain diseases.
