  • Iliotibial tract

    A thick fascia which runs from the ilium to the tibia. A thickened area of fascia lata extending from the lateral condyle of the tibia to the iliac crest.  

  • Iliopectineal eminence

    A raised area on the inner surface of the innominate bone.  

  • Iliacus

    A muscle in the groin which flexes the thigh. A flat triangular muscle situated in the area of the groin. This muscle acts in conjunction with the psoas muscle to flex the thigh.  

  • Iliac spine

    A projection at the posterior end of the iliac crest. One of four spines of the ilium, namely, the anterior and posterior inferior spines and the anterior and posterior superior spines.
