    To give someone medicine or a treatment.  

  • Adjuvant therapy

    Therapy using drugs or radiation after cancer surgery. The use of additional therapy in addition to the primary therapy. In cancer care, for example, surgery to remove a tumor may be the primary treatment, and radiation therapy to destroy neighboring cells and tissues an adjuvent therapy.   • Aditus

    An opening or entrance to a passage. An anatomical opening or passage; for example, the opening of the tympanic cavity (middle ear) to the air spaces of the mastoid process.  

  • Adiposuria

    The presence of fat in the urine. Passing of fat in the urine. This condition is almost always abnormal and may be due to a variety of conditions, including elevated blood fats (hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia) and kidney disease (nephrotic syndrome). Also called lipuria.
