A term being used in some hospitals to indicate that quality management and the conservation of resources are seen as a single topic, or at least, topics which are closely interrelated. Such hospitals may have, for example, quality management, utilization review, risk management, and infection control under the “QRM department” headed by the “QRM Director.”
