Radial pulse

Pulse found on the inside of the wrist on the thumb side near the wrist bone.


The main pulse in the wrist, taken near the outer edge of the forearm just above the wrist.


Pulse of the radial artery, palpated at the wrist; it is the pulse commonly taken.


Bounding, throbbing sensation at the distal portion of the radius of the forearm with each contraction of the heart.
