Small oval or round individual baking dishes.


A diminutive receptacle specifically designed for baking and serving individual portions of food is commonly known as a ramekin. In some instances, the dish itself is also referred to by this name and may alternatively be spelled as “ramequin.”


A petite and heat-resistant container, typically crafted from china or glass, bears the name of ramekin. In the culinary realm of France, ramekin also refers to a delectable tartlet featuring a delightful filling of cream cheese.
