Tectospinal tract

A tract which takes nerve impulses from the mesencephalon to the spinal cord.

A tract that conveys nerve impulses from the midbrain, across the midline as it descends, to the spinal cord in the cervical (neck) region. It contains important motor neurons.

A nerve tract that passes from the tectum of the midbrain through the medulla to the spinal cord; most of the fibers cross to the other side of the body.
