Tetrachloroethylene

Drug used to treat hookworm infestation. Adverse effects include nausea, abdominal cramps, and sometimes liver toxicity.


An anthelmintic drug used in the treatment of hookworm disease. It is given by mouth. Toxic side-effects are rare, but vertigo and headache frequently occur and patients with severe anemia may collapse during treatment.
