Titubation

A rhythmical nodding movement of the head, sometimes involving the trunk. Occasionally the use of this term is extended to include a stumbling gait.


A regular nodding movement of the head that sometimes involves the trunk. The term can also refer to a staggering or reeling condition, especially when due to disease of the, spinal cord or cerebellum.


A coarse and backward tremor of the trunk. In patients with cerebellar disease, standing sometimes provokes this tremor.


A form of tremor, resulting from demyelination in the cerebellum, that manifests itself primarily in the head and neck.


In English, a shaking or bobbing motion of the head, along with an unsteady walk, can be observed in certain conditions affecting the central nervous system, which includes the brain and spinal cord.
