A type of parasitic nematode worm that infests the intestinal tract of dogs. The migrating larvae of this worm can lead to lesions in various organs, including the lungs, liver, kidneys, brain, and eyes. In cases of human infections, the larvae do not complete their life cycle but instead result in a condition called visceral larva migrans.
