The condition in which sexual pleasure is obtained by dressing in the clothes of the opposite sex. It may occur in both heterosexual and homosexual people and may be directly related to masturbatory or other sexual behavior. Treatment may be by behavioral techniques, such as aversion therapy, but is not always needed.
Transvestitism, or transvestism. The term given to a psychosexual condition in which there is a repetitive compulsion to dress in the clothes of the opposite sex.
