Lobster facts

Lobsters are closely related to grasshopper, insects and mosquito. It has ten legs so they lie in the order Decapoda. They have two unequal claws which are large. Females have broad tail to carry eggs. When the lobster is cooked it turns to red color. The presence of algae makes the lobster easy to hide and also attracts organisms to feed on. When the lobsters are small, they need shelters which prevent them from predators, currents and waves. As they are nocturnal, they do not prefer light.
