Alcohol

Drinking alcohol can cause a whole array of physical problems. For starters, it can make you more susceptible to pneumonia and other respiratory conditions. If you drink while you have an infection, the alcohol levels in your blood can make it take longer for that infection to heal. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that adult males limit their alcohol intake to a maximum of two drinks per day. For adult females, one drink per day is the recommended maximum.

As you probably already know, soda is high in sugar. But that’s not the only reason it’s bad for your immune system. Soda also contains caffeine, which can affect your sleep habits and cause inflammation in the body. This includes diet soda as well. Diet sodas are full of fake sugars that can cause the same inflammatory effects and have an adverse effect on your metabolism.
