    BBQ chicken tenders recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 stick (8 tbsp) butter, melted
    • ½ cup corn syrup
    • ½ cup water
    • 1 cup diced onion
    • 4 garlic gloves, minced
    • 2 cups prepared barbecue sauce
    • 15 chicken tenders
    Spice Rub For Chicken Tenders
    • 2 tbsp dried parsley
    • 2 tsp dried dill
    • 1 tbsp onion powder
    • 1 tbsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp pepper
    How to Make It
    1. Add the sugar, butter, corn syrup, ½ cup water, onion, garlic, and barbecue sauce to the Instant Pot. Stir everything together.
    2. Pressure cook on high for 10 minutes, letting the steam release naturally.
    3. When the steam has released, transfer the sauce to a bowl and add the chicken tenders to the Instant Pot with 1 cup water. Secure the lid and pressure cook on high for 5 minutes, letting the pressure release naturally.
    4. When the steam has released, remove the lid and transfer the chicken tenders to a large bowl. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp. of the spice rub (recipe below) and toss to coat.
    5. Drizzle the chicken tenders with the sauce, toss, and serve with your favorite vegetables and enjoy!
    6. Spice Rub For Chicken Tenders
    7. Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and mix together. Use as needed.
