    Cabbage rolls recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup water
    • 1 head cabbage
    • 1 cup finely diced carrots
    • ½ cup finely diced onion
    • ½ cup finely diced green onions
    • 2–3 lb ground beef
    • 1 tbsp steak seasoning blend
    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 2 cups instant rice
    Sauce
    • 2 cans (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
    • 1 can Italian style tomato paste
    • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning herb blend
    • 1 cup water
    How to Make It
    1. Pour 1 cup water into Instant Pot and place the steam rack in the pot. Remove core from cabbage and place on steam rack.
    2. Steam cook for 5 minutes. Let pressure release naturally.
    3. When cabbage is cool enough to handle, remove leaves and set aside.
    4. Add carrots, onion, and green onions to a food processor and finely pulse them together.
    5. Add carrot mixture to a large bowl along with remaining ingredients (minus cabbage). Mix everything together.
    6. Divide meat mixture between prepared cabbage leaves and fold cabbage leaves up like a burrito. Place on steam rack inside Instant Pot.
    7. In a separate bowl mix the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and 1 cup water. Pour over the cabbage rolls.
    8. Secure lid and pressure cook on high for 8 minutes. Let steam release naturally. Serve with your favorite sides.
