    Home-style tomato juice recipe

    • Yield: 2 cups
    • Preparation Time: 20 Minutes

    Ingredients

    • 10–12 large ripe tomatoes
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp seasoned salt
    • ¼ tsp pepper
    • 1 Tbsp turbinado sugar
    How to Make It
    1. Wash and drain tomatoes. Remove core and blossom ends.
    2. Place the whole tomatoes in your slow cooker. (Do not add water.)
    3. Cover and cook on Low 4–6 hours, or until tomatoes are very soft.
    4. Press them through a sieve or food mill. Add seasonings. Chill.
