    Spicy pulled pork recipe

    Try this as a taco filling or a sandwich. It’s also great over rice.

    • Yield: 12
    • Preparation Time: 8 Hours 10 Minutes

    Ingredients

    • 5-lb pork shoulder with bone
    • 1½ cup barbeque sauce
    • ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
    • 1 cup chicken broth
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon mustard
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons chili powder
    • 2 chopped onions
    • 5 minced garlic cloves
    • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
    • 4 teaspoons liquid smoke
    How to Make It
    1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
    2. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over the pork. Cook on low for 10 hours.
    3. One hour before the pork is done, remove from slow cooker and shred the meat using 2 forks.
    4. Return the meat to the slow cooker for 10 minutes.
