The Modified Keto Cookbook: Quick, Convenient, Great-Tasting Recipes for Following a Low-Ratio Ketogenic DietWho doesn’t love the flavors of a cheesesteak? This recipe is bread free, but all the flavors are still there to enjoy. Try this with a side serving of Fiber Rolls if you must have bread.

    • Yield: 6 Servings

    Ingredients

    • 1 pound (454 grams) shaved beef steak
    • 1¼ cup (115 grams) sliced red bell pepper
    • 1¼ cup (115 grams) sliced yellow bell pepper
    • 1¼ cup (115 grams) sliced green bell pepper
    • ½ cup (58 grams) sliced onion
    • 1 tablespoon (15 grams) coconut oil
    • 2 cups (1 batch) Cheese Sauce
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    How to Make It
    1. Heat coconut oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add bell peppers and onion. Sauté the peppers and onion until they have softened. Be careful not to overcook until they are mushy. Remove the peppers and onion from the pan and set aside.
    2. Add the beef to the pan in an even, thin layer. Cook the meat until it is no longer pink. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
    3. Add the peppers and onion back to the pan with the meat. Toss the ingredients until equally distributed. Divide into six equal servings. Place each serving on a serving plate and top with ⅓ cup of cheese sauce. Serve and enjoy.
