    Ketogenic Cookbook - Nutritious Low-Carb

    • Yield: 4 Servings
    • Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
    • Cooking Time: 8 Minutes

    Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons MCT oil
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 2 ounces bacon
    • 4 ounces cheese curds, frozen
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs, such as cilantro or flat-leaf parsley (optional)
    • ¼ cup BBQ Mustard or Keto Ketchup, for serving
    How to Make It
    1. Heat the MCT oil and butter in a sauté pan over medium-high heat.
    2. Wrap a piece of bacon around each frozen cheese curd, being careful to completely cover the cheese. Secure the bacon with a toothpick. If desired, roll the bacon-wrapped cheese curds in chopped herbs for a crispy herb crust.
    3. Working in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan, place the wrapped cheese curds in the hot oil, turning frequently, until the outsides become slightly crisp and the cheese becomes gooey. This will take only a few minutes per batch.
    4. Remove to a platter, let cool slightly, and enjoy with mustard or ketchup.
