    6 Ingredient Ketogenic Cookbook

    • Yield: 2 Servings
    • Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
    • Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

    Ingredients

    • 2 fresh tuna steaks, about 3 ounces each
    • 1 teaspoon chili powder
    • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 tablespoon pine nuts
    • Handful of arugula or your favorite greens
    Essentials
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    How to Make It
    1. Combine all of the seasonings (chili powder, dried thyme and garlic powder), add a dash of salt and pepper.
    2. Add a little coating of olive oil to the tuna steaks and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over both sides, distributing it as evenly as possible.
    3. Add the olive oil and butter to a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
    4. Once the butter has melted and the oil is hot, add the pine nuts and the tuna steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until blackened or cooked to your preference. The pine nuts should be soft and golden brown.
    5. Serve immediately on a bed of arugula.
