    How to Make Pilpill Shrimp

    Cook Healthy and QuickIn this specialty of the tapas bars of Andalusia, freshly caught raw shrimp are cooked to order in little earthenware cazuelas. They contain more protein than chicken, for fewer calories and less fat.

    Ingredients

    • 5½ oz (150 g) raw peeled shrimp
    • 4 tbsp olive oil
    • 2 garlic cloves, thickly sliced
    • 5 small dried chiles, whole but seeded
    • sea salt
    • soft-crumbed bread, to serve

    How to Make It
    1. Clean the shrimp and devein them, if necessary
    2. Heat the oil in an earthenware cazuela or a small frying pan. Add the shrimp, garlic, and chiles, sprinkle with a little salt, and cook for 1–2 minutes, until the shrimp change color and become opaque.
    3. Serve immediately with toothpicks or wooden forks and plenty of soft-crumbed bread for soaking up the juices.
