The traditional dry dusting and wet cleaning methods have been around since centuries. These prove to be effective in cleaning various surfaces and objects. However, these methods can be quite time consuming and tiring especially for larger premises. Besides, one has to clean the rags used for this process after the cleaning task is done thereby adding to the overall work. An electrostatic sprayer, on the other hand, is an easier and more effective way to clean surfaces. These sprayers have long been a part of the coating industry. The cleaning industry, however, has seen an increasing use of these equipments only over the last few years. This is mainly because of the ease and effectiveness they offer.

Electrostatic Disinfection: An Effective Cleaning Procedure

Electrostatic spray dispenses electrostatically charged liquid on objects and surfaces to rid them of dust, dirt and germs. The special solution injected in the electrostatic spray is pushed with force to give the desired output. The particles inside the sprayer are positively charged and have the capacity to hit the negatively charged area quickly and cover it evenly to ensure the harmful contents on it are removed. With this equipment it is also easier to reach and clean the places that are otherwise left untouched and unclean.

Surfaces such as floor, walls, doors, furniture and fittings are mostly negatively charged as these are frequently touched. The chances of these surfaces being embedded with dirt and germs are higher in malls, office spaces and hospitals that see large number of visitors regularly. Cleaning these places using the traditional dry and wet techniques is not feasible each time and the method will not even prove to be very effective. This is where electrostatic spray comes handy. This disinfection method is effective and lasts longer. Besides, it does not require high workforce to accomplish the task.

Electrostatic Disinfectant Cleaning: A Must for Restrooms

Electrostatic disinfectant cleaning is all the more essential for restrooms as these are the main breeding grounds for germs and bacteria. The urinals, walls, basins and every other place in the restrooms needs cleaning to shun the chances of infection. And the best way to do so is with the help of this new age technique. As a part of the process, the surfaces are completely coated with electrostatic sprays. These are left wet for around 10 minutes or the recommended time as per the surface to ensure their effectiveness. The best part is that you do not require wiping it after 10 minutes or so. You just set it and let it air dry. So, you can quickly spray it in every nook and corner of the restroom and close the place for the recommended time.

More and more schools, malls, offices, hospitals and other such places are opting for this method to keep their restrooms clean and hygienic.

Looking at its effectiveness, it is clear why electrostatic cleaning and disinfection has become an essential part of the cleaning industry. The process can be accomplished with the help of professionals or can even be done on your own.
