    How to Make Secret Beef Burgers

    • Yield: 4 Burgers

    Ingredients

    • 1 pound lean ground beef
    • 3 tablespoons organic baby food plum purée
    • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
    • 0.33 cup onions, minced
    • Sea salt, to taste
    • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    How to Make It
    1. Combine ground beef, baby food, flax meal, and onions; mix lightly but thoroughly.
    2. Shape loosely into four ½"-thick patties. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.
    3. Cook patties immediately after mixing meat mixture for best results. Heat large skillet about 2 minutes over medium heat until hot. Cook patties 10–12 minutes to desired doneness, turning once.
    4. Serve burgers on whole-wheat buns with romaine or spinach lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and condiments if desired.
