    How to Make Spicy Lamb and Feta Meatballs

    Ingredients

    • 14 oz (400 g) ground lamb
    • ½ cup fresh white bread crumbs
    • 1 large egg, beaten
    • 1 tsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • handful of mint leaves, finely chopped
    • salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • 2 oz (60 g) crumbled feta cheese
    • 2 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil
    • couscous, to serve
    How to Make It
    1. Mix together the ground lamb, bread crumbs, egg, spices, and mint, and season well. Gently mix in the feta cheese. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
    2. With damp hands, shape walnut-sized balls with the lamb mixture.
    3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the meatballs over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, until browned all over and cooked through. Serve with couscous.
