    How to Make Smoky Fish Pate

    Ingredients

    • 1 medium (100 g/3.5 oz) red onion
    • 1 package (100 g/3.5 oz) smoked salmon
    • 1 large (200 g/7.1 oz) smoked mackerel filet
    • 3.5 ounces (100 g) cream cheese
    • ½ cup (115 g/4.1 oz) sour cream
    • 2 tablespoons (30 ml/1 fl oz) fresh lemon juice
    • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    How to Make It
    1. Peel and finely chop the onion. Put the smoked salmon and mackerel into a blender together with the cream cheese and sour cream and then pulse until smooth. Add the lemon juice and season with black pepper.
    2. Add the onion and pulse just enough to mix it in. (Don’t blend it in completely: leave some small pieces in the mixture.) Serve with freshly-cut vegetables or as a topping for Ultimate Keto Bread, Onion & Poppy Seed Crackers, or Pesto Crackers.
