    Within the health and beauty industry there are a lot of false claims made about miracle cures and naturally-sourced products with insane benefits. Whilst this can be frustrating of course, it should not make us close our eyes to the products out there which really can be incredibly beneficial, no matter how wild and wonderful they sound.

    One product which we are seeing more and more when it comes to health benefits however, which really does have science to support the claims, is camel milk. Now bringing camel milk into your life doesn’t mean that you have to pay staggering import fees to get the highest quality camel juice for your home. This milk can be much more easily purchased thanks to a wide range of products which are made using fresh camel milk, and the benefits are seriously impressive. Some of this may surprise you, but if you do introduce camel milk into your life here are just some of the advantages which you will be able to enjoy.

    Packed With Nutrients

    Let’s start by taking a deeper look at camel milk benefits, we have to first focus on exactly why this product is so good for us. The key to this is the nutrients which are packed in to the milk. Low in saturated fat and high in vitamin C, B, calcium, iron and potassium, the milk which camels produce offers so many essential nutrients which our bodies need. Additionally, there are high levels of thiamine, phosphorus and long chain fatty acids such as linoleic acid, much higher than you are likely to find in other similar products.

    Milk Alternative

    For many years the animal industry sold us lies about the benefits of cow’s milk, which in fact has proven to do a lot more damage to us than provide benefits. This is not just about the milk itself, but rather the way in which the milk is obtained, pasteurized and made ready for the market. Additionally we have a large number of people around the country who are lactose intolerant, who are not able to consume cow’s milk or its products. Camel milk however contains a far lesser amount of lactose than cow’s milk which means that it can be used as a replacement for those who are intolerant.

    At this stage most of the products which we see using camel milk are those within the beauty sector, and with good reason. Camel milk and the nutrients found within it have been proven to increase collagen production which helps to reduce the impact which aging has on our skin. Additionally those fatty acids are what our skin needs to stay moisturized, soft and supple. We have even seen some anecdotal evidence that people with skin disorders such as acne and eczema see an improvement in their condition after using products which feature camel milk.

    After the tumultuous time which we have had following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, more and more people are laying a heavier focus on the quality of their immune system. Camel milk is a perfect product for boosting your ability to fight off disease, thanks to those vitamins and nutrients which it offers. There are also two main components which this product features, which are critical in helping to boost our immune systems. These are lactoferrin and immunoglobulins. To start with lactoferrin offers a range of benefits which help the body. This protein is anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and has antioxidant properties. Immunoglobulins are proteins which work on fighting off viruses and improving the strength of our immune system on the whole.

    Hair and Nails

    We are seeing a large range of products on the market which feature camel milk, aimed at those looking to boost the quality and strength of their hair and nails. This is thanks to the high levels of omega-3 essential fatty acids, which is what we require to moisturize and nourish our hair follicles. This is the same nutrient which is able to increase the strength and appearance of our nails.

    Insulin Heavy

    A large number of people who suffer from diabetes have found that camel milk offers them a highly beneficial daily dose of insulin. The proteins which this milk features are akin to insulin which work very well in regulating blood sugar levels.

    Diet Friendly

    There are some claims out there that camel milk can support weight loss, and given its nutritional makeup that is not beyond the realms of possibility. These claims however are yet to be fully proven, but we do know that this product is dietary friendly. In fact for anyone who is enjoying a keto or paleo diet, this is a product which can be used. Given the low amount of camel milk required, and the fact that it is much healthier than other animal milk, this is a great option for those who are watching their weight yet still want the benefits.

    Packing a Punch

    Many think that they have to consume high quantities of camel milk in order to enjoy these benefits but the reality is that you don’t. Just 4oz per day of camel milk can ensure that your body absorbs all of these incredible nutrients and the benefits which they bring. In terms of products we have seen that there is a very low concentration of camel milk in beauty products and creams, yet they still pack a punch when it comes to the wide range of benefits which they are able to offer.

    Camel milk has been used for many centuries and we are once again rediscovering the sheer volume of benefits which this product can have on the human body. In the coming years we can most certainly expect to see many more beauty products which feature the milk, as well as a wider supply of camel milk on the whole.
