    Chicken broth is the liquid part of chicken soup which is made from meat. It is a health food which is packed with gelatin, chondroitin, assortment of minerals and protein. It could be served as a soup with noodles. It is somewhat mild than stock and also not needed to be boiled as long and is made with meatier chicken parts.     Health Benefits of Chicken Broth

    Ingredients:

    • 2-3 chicken legs or bones (or 6-8 organic free-range chicken wings)
    • 1 onion/leek (roughly chopped)
    • 8 cups water
    • 5 celery stalks (roughly chopped)
    • 3 carrots (roughly chopped)
    • 4 cloves of garlic (unpeeled, cut once)
    • 2 handful parsley (or mint/cilantro/thyme)
    • 1 inch of ginger (roughly chopped)
    • 1/2 tsp. of sea salt
    • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    • 3 bay leaves, whole

    Directions:

    Step 1: In a pot, add all ingredients and slowly cook for 4.5 hours or overnight.

    Step 2: Take the bones and meat out of it.

    Step 3: Use a sieve to pass the stock. An here you got health-boosting chicken broth.

    Step 4: Excess broth could be kept for upto 4 days in fridge and upto 3 weeks in freezer.
