Flowers occur in spring. Buds are produced on spurs. Flowers measures about 1.2 to 1.6 inches (3-4 cm) and has usually five white petals with a pink tinge. An inflorescence consists of cyme with 4 to 6 flowers. An inflorescence has central flower called king bloom which opens first and develops into a large fruit.
